We've met a lot of great people and have many friends involved in projects that are important to us.  We as a band believe in community and helping those in need.  There's a common misconception in today's world that people are looking for handout, when in reality they just need a hand.  We are fortunate enough to have partnered with groups and people we now proudly call friends.  Here you will find some links to projects, people, events and resources that we work with.  At the end of the day we are only as strong as the work we do, for those who can't. - Cody

Project ACHIEVE and Columbia University Medical Center work together to conduct trials of preventive HIV vaccines.  We also partner with multiple Community Based Organizations in the New York City metro area to develop and test innovative behavioral interventions.  Our Community Education and Recruitment staff is frequently found in the streets engaging participants for new studies and distributing HIV prevention materials.  We organize and participate in community events to commemorate special days of the year such as HIV Vaccine Awareness Day, National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, and New York City Gay Prides. Some of our trial participants and other volunteers from the community form our Community Advisory Board (CAB).  The CAB meets throughout the year to discuss the interests and concerns of target communities for HIV prevention.

Founded in 1982, Foodshare is the regional food bank serving Connecticut’s Hartford and Tolland counties, where 127,000 people struggle with hunger. Foodshare is a member of the national organization Feeding America, along with more than 200 other food banks nationally. In partnership with the food industry, donors, community leaders and volunteers, Foodshare works to maximize access to nutritious food and other resources that support food security. And, because hunger is bigger than food, Foodshare collaborates with anti-hunger organizations, policy makers, and the broader community to build effective solutions to end hunger.
